I helped organise a really interesting networking event on behalf of the UK Blog Awards in London on Tuesday evening at the Hills Balfour offices, who are the PR sponsors and it was a resounding success. Finalists in the UK Blog Awards mingled and networked with the judges for the varying different categories. So interesting putting together a crowd of bloggers from all different niche categories, including photography, fashion, dating, eco, travel, storytelling and so on. It made for some very unusual and lively conversations and it was refreshing to have a mix across all interests, rather than us all be the same.
I had a long and interesting discussion with James Preece “The Dating Guru” who told me to stop procrastinating….hmmm. That is not easy for me. I love procrastinating, but more of that in a separate post.
