What a treat I had last week. Thanks to a fab company called Lavish who offer vouchers for spa treatments all round the country (and are just about to take on the Adamina Spa as well), I was invited to review TWO spa treatments at the luxury concept spa by “Comfort Zone”. To be honest I had no idea that the spa was there at all – it’s in a large space on Kensington High Street almost opposite the Odeon cinema. I remember the building housing a bank. It was just such a lovely experience. Great space, lovely staff and delicious smelling products.
I hadn’t heard of “Comfort Zone” treatments and products before – they’re from Italy and available in very few high end spas and salons so far in the UK. I am usually very funny about smells and don’t always like all the aromas but I loved all these – they were subtle and smelt richly natural. I couldn’t have been happier during my wonderful treatments – although I did feel sorry for the therapist – how hideous to be presented with such an unkempt winter body AND what’s more I think I snored. I had a “Glorious Skin” facial and a “D-age” a body firming and anti-ageing treatment where I got wrapped up in plastic for 20 minutes. Again the smells were divine.
Then I had tea and relaxed in what used to be the bank vaults – what a great place to go with a friend – they can do lunches for you and provide drinks – I will definitely be back.
