Kids back safe and sound last night with 3 bags of dirty clothes. No dramas this morning before school, but my daughter came back this afternoon with a letter for me from the headmistress. Apparently she had been behaving badly in Woolworth’s with three of her friends (in her school uniform) and a member of the public had reported them to the school. Not good. Even worse was that the headmistress got my daughter’s name muddled up with mine, so it was quite difficult to take it seriously:-
“Although xxxx is generally a well behaved and polite person, there are occasions when she pushes the boundaries and needs to be reminded about the expectations we have. I know xxxx has a very mature and sensible side and I hope that this helps her to see how silly behaviour lets her down.” She could well have been talking about me in the pub on Friday night…don’t think I was wearing school uniform though.
I went to look at three houses today. Might make an offer on one of them tomorrow. I’m going to have to spend all day finding out about mortgages. I don’t understand much about them and I certainly know nothing about buying a house. Help!
