I have been in Dubai for most of this week – not that anyone noticed, apart from maybe two out of three of my children and even they were pretty relaxed about me having to jet off at the last minute on business. ON BUSINESS!! How cool is that? Well, I think it’s cool. Always fancied being the one to be able to get on a plane and fly away on business – even if it meant three days in a conference centre….which it did. I still get a kick out of simply being on the aeroplane. It’s all so exciting just being able to see life from a different perspective and every once in a while it’s a very good idea.

I was attending the Arabian Travel Market with some of my colleagues – which is sort of annoying now that I’m trying really really hard to win a Lifestyle blog award instead of the Travel award I was up for last year when I didn’t really do enough travelling to warrant being a travel blogger….

Anyway, here we all are at the Kenya stand in full regalia:-

Your absence was quite conspicuous on the blog, actually. The number of days it lasted did hint at at trip. It sounds really cool. I know – getting on the plane is always exciting, a beginning of something new. Despite the new anti-terror measures and lack of/terrible food. Depends on what class, of course….
Business class is great (judging from my one-time experience).
