So we have woken up to a new dawn in politics.  David Cameron is Prime Minister.  Nick Clegg is Deputy Prime Minister.  I am now going to pretend that this was exactly what I had planned for when I voted.  Most people I have talked to seem to be very positive about the whole thing.

Lets hope the rest of the world think so too.

My only complaint is that the Prime Minister is younger than me and that makes me feel very, very old.

Very mixed reviews from the people I know in the UK, and Americans over here (if they comment at all) are just bemused by the whole hung parliament thing.

I feel quite optimistic about this whole thing too. I like the fact that the Tories can’t just bulldoze their way back into government, they are going to have to justify, compromise and be open about things first.
