I’m not gonna lie, I have very little idea where we are and what all the names of the places are that we have visited thus far. I know that we are in Catalunya and have been visiting some amazing places – not least is Dali’s wonderful museum in Figueres.
BUT. As we are still here and in a rush to set off for another excursion and THANK GOODNESS I am no longer in competition with some of my fellow ‘mummy’ bloggers here on the trip for the honour of best travel blogger – so if I miss a few names of places I don’t have to worry so much – I can keep it light and airy in manner of lifestyle blogger and float around drinking gin and tonics (OMG they actually have a GIN & TONIC FESTIVAL HERE IN JULY!! My sort of festival for sure – details on one of my Instagram photos) and wearing inappropriate clothing at all times for every occasion. Which I am in fact doing very well so far.
So for the moment, here are a few more photos I took of Day two when we went on a glass bottomed boat from Port de l’Estartit, followed by a lovely lunch, then a visit to a pottery (where I couldn’t take photos because I was too busy pretending to be Demi Moore and getting down and dirty with an extremely uncooperative lump of clay – made even worse by the fact that suddenly a microphone and camera was shoved in my face, literally as another phallic symbol keeled over under my hands (and that’s not the first time that’s happened) and a woman from the local news team was asking me what I thought of Costa Brava.
After that we had a tour around the most amazing medieval village I have ever seen. Anyway, I’ll show you those photos later. In the meantime here are some lifestyle atmospheric ones of the glass bottom boat trip – we even saw an octopus. The area above the water was dramatic:-
and a very dodgy one of me taken by my trusty assistant to show you the belly of the boat:-
