Before teaching my exercise class this morning, I went to my friend’s house to be de-fluffed as she has somebody that comes to her house and she was the one who had suggested I needed a hedge trimmer last week. I had allocated 15 minutes. 45 minutes later she still hadn’t finished.

She “threaded” my eyebrows. I’d never had that done before. It was eye-wateringly painful, but more effective than plucking them. Very clever. How do you pick up teeny hairs in a little bit of thread and pull them out?

ANYWAY. Without going into details she had no time to do anything major to my bikini line because she had to do my legs too. I did establish (in the name of market research) that all the girls are now going for a “Hollywood” – NO HAIR!! Gross.

I rushed off to teach my class immediately afterwards. Halfway through, just as I was demonstrating a leg stretch at the front with my entire calf exposed, I noticed with horror that the inside of my yoga pants (which are slightly fluffy) had managed to attach themselves to my legs. So it looked as if my legs were almost completely covered in dark black hair. Not good.

This was very funny. I have done the same thing countless times, so it really made me chortle. I wrote a post about waxing and excessive hair in April called Hair Today Gone Tomorrow (tried to put a link but am such a numpty I can't work out how to). Same story where the nether regions are concerns. I can't say I will ever voluntarily venture into Hollywood territory. I can only imagine how itchy and weird it looks when the hair starts to grow back…eurgh.

Wrt the hair growing back – surely it will look no more weird than having the amazon jungle down there either?
