Woohoo….finally you can zoom in on Instagram. This is a HUGE relief for parents around the world who simply cannot resist pinching the screen and trying to zoom in and causing additional embarrassment to their children. It was virtually impossible not to try and zoom, but now we can! Hooray!
I suspect that pinch to zoom is one of the most wanted features, as the lack of zoom has been a major complaint for all BUT ESPECIALLY OLD PEOPLE and now we can zoom in to our heart’s content to actually see the photo and additionally stalk even more than before.
Instagram seems to be properly taking over the world this year, what with all the recent changes – the Snapchat-style Stories section seems to be going down well and I predict the demise of Snapchat as a result.
FYI it is currently only available to iOS users, but Instagram have confirmed that zoom would be coming to Android “in the coming weeks”.
