My daughter is FURIOUS with her brother. He changed her Bebo user name and she didn’t notice for ages. She said “all my friends were sending me messages saying ‘Oh, wow what a great name for you’ and then I realised what they were talking about and OMG mum, it’s so embarrassing! and like not only that, but he sent a message to my boyfriend saying ‘you’re really buff’ which is like SO embarrassing and THEN, when he didn’t reply straight away he sent ‘OI’. I’m like SOOO embarrassed. Can you believe he actually changed my name to “I’M A SHITHEAD and I didn’t even notice straight away. I’m so going to kill him”.
On an entirely different matter, I now realise why I am not too fussed that we have a few aeroplanes flying overhead in our neck of the woods. When we lived in Hong Kong, Kai Tak was the airport and it was on Kowloon side, but in amongst the sky skrapers. It’s hardly surprising that a lot of the pilots that lived there were on drugs….
I remember watching Concorde arrive for the first time and I also remember a plane plopping off the end of the runway into the sea. Coming in to land was always terrifying – you could actually look into people’s windows and we did this sort of right angle turn at the end….
Check this out, it brings back fond memories:

May 30, 2008I wish my kids would do funny things like that. They just scream obscenities at each other and that can get pretty boring after the first 5 minutes.

May 30, 2008Obviously the obscenities were quick to follow .. and he will no doubt pay for his joke big time x

May 30, 2008I’ve done that!! I’ve flown into Kai Tak airport peering into people’s homes as we flew past and then hoped and prayed the plane would stop before the end of the runway. (Luckily it did)
Ah, life before children!

May 31, 2008That’s excellent, what a brilliant trick…obviously extremely bad taste and he’ll need a jolly good beating for it, really excellent, what a great sense of humour.
