OOOOH. Just been to a lovely event at Harrods where a gorgeous woman with skin to-die-for talked us through a new luxury Moroccan beauty brand called `’marocMaroc” (I know – slightly odd, but it starts with a small “m”) which has just launched for the first time exclusively at the “Inspiring Morocco” exhibition on the 3rd floor.
Just lovely to do sniff tests on such delicious smells and try out lots of lovely skin care products with natural Moroccan ingredients like Argan oil, almond, sweet honey, orange flower water and rose. Based on the traditional origins of the beauty secrets Moroccan women have used in the hammans for centuries their new products are understandably a hit in exclusive spas. Their most popular product is a body exfoliating and detoxifying balm which removes toxins and dead cells.
My favourite – a huge pot of delicious rose smelling rich body moisturiser and complimented with a touch of violet, almond and neroli, which our lovely host described as having “joyful generosity”. It’s just such a lovely girly pot of gloop I wanted to climb into. £67.00 a pot though. It’s clearly not Ponds cream. I’d have to use it a little more sparingly than that and I’d definitely have to hide it from my daughter:-
Then we got a hand massage and now I smell delicious. A lovely way to spend the morning.
