WOW AMAZING I said to my 14 year old son this evening – did you know about “Palchohol” – a new powdered alcohol product where you just mix it with water to get a margarita? How cool is that? Apparently it’s just been approved by the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. Powdered vodka. Every under 21 year old in the USA’s dream as they can easily smuggle small packets into parties and clubs. Why didn’t I think of that? Although I guess I assumed that it would be like trying to produce powdered water and impossible to do.
“Yeh, I heard about that ages ago” he replied “apparently if you snort it you can be dangerously over the limit really quickly – it’s really strong”. SNORT IT?? REALLY STRONG? How does he know about snorting it before I have even heard of it? He probably heard about it around the same time he requested that we go to Colarado last year for a family holiday (or Amsterdam if it’s too far)…..the things my children know, it is a real worry.
Apparently it’s going to be sold online and abroad “to people of a legal drinking age”. So how does that work then? When kids start ordering it from the USA on someone else’s credit card?
