I’m so excited. My son won his rugby match today which means his team is now one of 8 left in the country still in the tournament. I am involved with the training and obviously take full responsibility for their success today. Just before the match today I took them to the side of the pitch and did some stretching exercises with them. In addition I reminded them to think about their core strength and stability. Whilst we were doing gentle stretches and breathing techniques the other team were doing press-ups and star jumps and Hakka style movements. Big difference. But. We won. Hooray. My son (proud mother that I am) scored the winning try. Then he got cramp which sort of ruined the image I was trying to present. Never mind.
