According to my 7 year old, Sex Education is on the curriculum for this year. He was terribly excited this morning that it may be today that they start. He is however, concerned that he will laugh. He said he would have to chew his jumper in an effort not to get caught.

This was in amongst giving particularly helpful advice to my daughter, who was feeling a little bit sick, but couldn’t work out why. “It’s probably your bagel, they always make me feel sick, or maybe you should just try going to do a poo that always makes me feel better, or just burp. Burping is definitely good and you will be fine after that”. My far more helpful suggestion was “go to school, it will distract you, call me if you’re sick”.

I have just finished teaching my regular Tuesday morning class. I have got a lovely new client – married to a professional footballer!! My daughter was extremely impressed “you mean you’re going to be teaching a proper WAG? Cool!”

I then walked to my new house to meet a flooring man. It is still a building site. No floor, no kitchen. No nothing. Definitely going to be camping for some time.

I saw the horse-drawn carriage waiting outside the church. It all looked wrong. Beautiful day, gorgeous carriage, splendid church – not right to be congregating to celebrate the life and mourn the death of a 15 year old child. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

    Hi Family Affairs!

Thank you for visiting my blog, nice to meet you. Amy is getting on fine at school with lots of help and support.

I can’t believe your 7 yr old is learning sex ed. Oh my god! That is young. Haven’t heard anything on the curriculum for that but I will be sure to listen out! Not sure, in fact, I know Amy won’t cope with it.

    Best wishes, Crystal xx
