It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. It’s all happening here. Kids off in all different directions – one in Athens for work and then Bulgaria to a festival in the mountains, another has come back from Australia and I’ve been on un petit week-end en Provence for a work trip which is helping me with my French lessons – I can now officially order my grande café creme et une grande verre de vin blanc et un croissant et aussi une baguette avec fromage et jambon! It’s all très bon. Of course, being with fluent French speakers doesn’t help as I realise how little I know, but it’s a start. Also been busy with work, so not much time for blogging!

We were in the South of France and managed to get to have lunch at our favourite place near St Tropez – Club 55 (they need to do a new website, it most certainly doesn’t do it justice). Trés chic. It’s the only place in the world where you are presented with a platter of incredibly expensive raw vegetables and you think it’s cool. If I offered raw mushrooms, tomatoes and cauliflower to my children they would think I’d gone mad:-

It’s always full of beautiful people:-

And the beach at Ramatuelle is gorgeous:-

We were staying about an hour away from there, not far from the spectacular Bormes-Les-Mimosa medieval village, where I’d like to live:-

Local vineyards abound and you can get some very decent rosé – we popped into the Figuiere vineyard for supplies:-

Et aussi j’aime les petits cafés française:-
