7 THINGS TO DO BEFORE MY PARENTS ARRIVE  
 
1. Move to a bigger house.
2. Take out shares in an off-licence
3. Buy a Christmas tree

5. Make fudge (family tradition – grandmother had a secret recipe)
6. Buy a ham before my mother offers to boil it herself
7. Buy Christmas cake and pudding before grandmother with broken arm offers to make it herself

1. Ice skate (love it but too risky)
2. Spend the day with my children (they’re going to their father’s at 11am)
3. Go somewhere hot (I loved all our hot Christmas’s when we lived in HK)
4. Watch the migration of the Wildebeest (like Miranda is doing)
5. Smoke
6. Spend the day with my children
7. Not smoke
