Oh dear. “:(” is text I got from my son this morning about his A level results just as I was checking them out online. He’s missed the A grade he needed for his university choice in maths by 1%. We are currently looking at whether it’s worth getting them remarked or not and whether the university will hold the place for him whilst that happens.
I take back everything I said yesterday. We’ve been at his school all morning and he’s very disappointed and it’s all VERY stressful.
Lots of Facebook entries saying “life over” and “balls”…..
Need a bit of time to get positive about his other options now.
