You are literally all going to kill me. On the most depressing day of the year I am at the airport ready to fly off to some sunshine, which seems to me the perfect tonic for depression. But I still don’t know why I’m here. I appear to have made it passed security but I’m sitting here waiting for a tap on the shoulder any minute to be escorted from the building…..

My mother is in charge of my “proper life” in my absence. My kids are all sorted; I hope. I have found my toes and legs under a mound of hair, but am still blue and have forgotten to put on fake tan in advance. Oh well. I hope I can find kaftans on arrival.

All very exciting.

Other suggestions for beating severe depression today involve:

alcohol
dancing
not reading my blog

xxx

Hopefully I’ll be able to put some pictures on from where I’m going to be.

Have a blast! Write us from there. If anything, it would be uplifting to read about your adventures.
(I hope BB will not be too jealous, with all that socializing you are going to do)

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful mothers in the world! Tomorrow is Mothering Sunday here in the United States and I know that eventhough it is celebrated on a different dates depending on your location, I just wanted to greet all our mothers on this special day!
