Below is the second post, written by my 12 year old son about our recent trip to Costa Brava:-
“Back again ! So after pottery (which was great fun and very messy):-
My mum being interviewed for the local news:-

We went down to a restaurant called L’Esculapi (Sant Marti d’Empuries) where before you walked up the hill there were amazing views of the sea:-
We got to our restaurant which was in a lovely full of families and really buzzy square and they sat us outside with a heater , they brought the starters their were about 8 starters to share which I think it’s quite good but u forget u haven’t had your main so you are full!!
After having a late night we had to have a early morning , we headed out way to the wine spa or golf but before that they stopped us at a sort of museum called Castell de Perelada where we saw the wine cellar, library and church where they showed us lots of different interesting old objects.
After we got to the spa we had to decide whether we did golf or spa and of course without a question my mum shouted “SPA! SPA!”, so the men went to play golf and I decided to play with them which surprising and annoying for then I won , while we were playing golf the women were sitting in wine which I think is a bit uncalled for!
After my mum feeling relaxed and “moisturised” we had lunch in the hotel we had the spa and golf In it was a very unusual menu and no one had really heard of anything before so we all decided to get a good old burger and chips !
Here is my mum looking really strange in a bath full of red wine:-
But the spa pool looked really nice:-
Here we are together outside the church/castle:-
That afternoon they took us to a museum of Dali who i had never heard of before but when i came out i loved him and his work i thought all of his paintings where so interesting but at the same time so unusual which i liked , i think if you are anywhere near the dali museum you have no choice but to go in and this is coming from a 12 year old boy who normally hates going to museums!!!! (see separate post about the museum).
We had one more activity to go which to be honest i really could not be bothered to go to but when i got their i actually had a really good time we went to a tablet workshop quite near the dali museum (at Espai Armengol (Vilajuiga) and what we did in this tablet worksop was pear up with our mothers and we had to make a animated movie using an app called lego movie which at first i thought sounded like a bit of a 4 year olds cup of tea but when we started i have to say i was really getting into it !!! Me and my mum used spiderman (of course) a bear some sand a foam bridge and a little girl and we made a short film which we had to show at the end!. Our story was about a bear trying to eat a little girl while sinking in the sand but spiderman comes along to save the day and stop the bear and to save the little girl … i have to say ours was by far the best 😉
When we left the tablet workshop they then took us to our new camping sight which had wooden bungalows small but quite sweet when we arrived at our new bungalows (Camping and Bungalows Salata Roses) they told us that we had 10 mins to get ready and get ourselves to dinner at the local pizzeria which was at the camping site but all i wanted to do was to lie on my bed and just have a rest from all the activites but no we had to go to dinner, which turned out to be very nice. Even my mum who hates camping was impressed:
I was very looking forward to the next day as it was wind tunnel ,boat trip and a cooking lesson. I was actually quite nervous about the wind tunnel because i had never done it before and the closer you made your way to the tunnel the more frighting it got but i overcame my fear and i did it and i did it very happily it was won of the best activities i had ever done i loved it !!!!!!!! (my mum is going to show you the photos in a separate post and to be honest she was really embarrassing because she screamed the whole time).
After having such fun at the wind tunnel they took us to to a very fun cool boat called magic !! it was a very nice day to have a boat trip and it was i had a lovely day they even cooked us a giant paella on board i had never seen anything quite like it before !!! after eating our lovely paella we made our way back to our mini-van on the boat , where they took us straight to the cooking lesson which was at a wine yard a lovely location , we all had a lovely time learning how to cook a lovely spanish three course meal.
Very relaxing except when your mother is taking photos of you close up:-
The next day was the big day the instagram competition , i have to say i have never seen a city that is into instagram! we went to a little gathering where a couple of instagrammers that came from around the town showed us around. After getting shown around we got taken to a restaurant just opposite the sea where we had a lovely tapas (again my mum did a separate post about this)
That night they took all of us into town and took us to a lovely restaurant where i had some lovely burger and chips but that wasn’t the only thing that happened very nicely Jaume set up his own little instagram competition just for the bloggers and i am glad to say that i won that cometiton i had no idea that i even had a chance my prise was a lovely drinking pot which made my holiday ,oh and if you want to have a look at my amazing award winning instagram pictures you can follow me on “@harryp07”.

Our last day they took us to a very interesting medevil town which was actually very interesting , but after that very sadly we had to leave :'(.
I had an amazing holiday which i will never forget , i want to say thank you so so so so so so so so so much for the amazing holiday Jaume and Amara!!!
