“What a fabulous evening we had last week hosted by the Managing Director of TEMES Mr. Stefanos Theodorides, in order to showcase Costa Navarino, the prime sustainable destination located in the Greek region of Messinia, southwest Peloponnese. The event was held at the interesting venue of the National Geographic Store in Knightsbridge. A stunning presentation of the destination to update the audience on the exciting developments planned for the destination in 2014 as well as to sample some of the Navarino Icons delights and it made everyone want to get straight on the next plane. I really want to go, it looks amazing.
The Greek Ambassador to Britain, Mr. Konstantinos Bikas, made a short speech, followed by representatives from Costa Navarino.
Greek expert and best–selling author Victoria Hislop was also in attendance to talk about her experience of Costa Navarino and she really couldn’t rate it highly enough….
As a going home present we were all given a copy of the DVD of Before Midnight, the film recently shot at the destination as well as one of the most amazing health bars (part of the Navarino Icons range) I have ever eaten. I saved it and ate in on the train to Newcastle. Delicious!
