So here we are with the only just about acceptable photo I’ve seen from my son’s visit to Sexpo Australia:-

He’s now about to leave Australia and his girlfriend and set off to meet some friends in Bangkok. Followed by a massive tour of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Now is the time to get a little more worried.

He sent me a text this morning at 3.38am:-

Hi mum, I’m just about to get my Japanese Encephelitis Jab in Melbourne. It’s quite pricey £150 ish but I goes I need to have it to ensure I don’t get swelling of the brain. Would you be able to reimburse? Hope I haven’t woken you up!

Shortly followed by:-

Don’t worry, the dr said I didn’t need the jab but I defo needed some e coli tablets and another set of parasite tablets which were $30 and then seeing the dr was $70 so in total it was only £60

Does he think I’m really stupid? Trying to fool me by changing currencies to make it look cheaper? Pulling the swollen brain card? Good grief.

Here in London, at least the sun is shining and is it the first day of spring today? It certainly feels like it….AND we don’t have to worry too much about parasites.
