OK, I have a solution. Once we are all stuck in our houses and not allowed out I think we should practice this Happy Dance and that way, once we are all allowed back out into the world we can all do it together, dancing down the street! A friend of mine filmed the dance….she’s just sent it to me and it’s incredibly uplifting.
It’s called The Dr Dance Happy Dance – Dr Peter Lovatt AKA Dr Dance who is bringing out a book called “The Dance Cure in April and literally reveals the dance medicine we need in our different situation of depression, anxiety or relationship, confidence issues. He has been dancing since the age of seven – was illiterate until 22 and is now a professor with a doctorate from Cambridge and this little dance (with instructions on how to do it will lift your spirit).
When we are all stuck inside, kitchen dancing (with our wine stocks) will be a huge release as dancing is scientifically proven to boost our mood!:-
