What a spectacular event I went to last night – “Fashion For The Brave” – at the DORCHESTER. A charity evening which unites British fashion and British forces. Lots of gorgeous, decorated men in uniform. My idea of heaven.
Claudia Winkleman introduced the evening and was hilarious. Hilary Alexander co-ordinated the whole fashion side of things and Jeffery Archer did a very good job of getting as much money out of the audience during the auction as possible.
I sat next to a gorgeous girl called “Kitten” who is Bo from The Voice’s Best Friend. She was absolutely lovely. Bo was sitting next to my VG friend on another table so we talked proudly of our BF’s on other tables and about life and she is clearly going to be famous in her own right as the new Charlie Dimmock – I decided I wanted to be called Kitten for the rest of the evening…..she breeds ladybirds. What a cool thing to be able to say you do…..
James Blunt is a patron of the event (but sadly not there) as it is raising money for two causes close to his heart, the Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund (HCOCF) and the British Forces Foundation (BFF), and he wants people to pay more attention to them. I believed they raised £250,000
Anyway, photo evidence of the evening with me getting progressively more silly – and BEST going home bags ever BTW including Jean Paul Gautier designed diet coke bottles and Aspinal wallets – very generous.
