I was having coffee with a friend of mine after my class today when a man walked up to us and said “hello, I’m from the Daily Telegraph and I”m looking for a middle aged man of stocky build who owns a black labrador called “Fenton” – do you know him?” and I was thinking “what a very strange question”. I told him to wander up to the local park and ask people there. Me and my friend didn’t own dogs so wouldn’t have a bloody clue….then he spent the next 10 minutes asking my friend if she was famous and had she been in some major films and yes she had, but he wasn’t quite sure which ones and it was all very surreal as I sat holding her newborn baby.
It has all become clear this evening why he was there. Video footage of Fenton the dog chasing deer in the park has gone viral. It’s quite funny actually – have a look at this link:-

It’s pretty scary, that dogs and deer scenario. Yesterday whilst walking in the park I got stuck in the middle of a bit of a stampede, with stags barking all over the place:-

November 23, 2011I had a bit of a heated conversation about this with someone today. Yes the John Cleese impression is funny. But the up shot (or my opinion) is that it was damned dangerous and that dog should have been on a lead. I appear to be in the minority. Beautiful photos btw x

November 23, 2011Well no you’re not in the minority I am quite sure – I agree with you and have begun to turn into a bit of a grumpy old cow when it comes to giving people stares if their dogs are not on leads when they are supposed to be – it’s just that it is quite funny too x
