GOLD MEDAL PARTY

Wow, I somehow managed to get an invite to the second hottest ticket this week (after the Stone Roses gig the night before with the new King Brad and Queen Jess of Britain in attendance) A party thrown at Omega House – primarily for all the olympic swimmers last night. A fantastic venue, wild molecular bubbling cocktails and a very lovely time had schmoosing with the our latest celebrities. PLEASE let all these fantastic role models take over from the reality TV celebrities for our children.

I talked to a few gold medalists and a few proud parents. I went with several girlfriends and whilst we agreed that our children would have loved it – it was a very young, cool crowd…how frustrating because at the same time we wanted to be there feeling young and cool….not feeling old…..
