Well as predicted, so far I think I’ve seen my youngest son for 20 minutes in total since he got back from uni. He has been out late catching up with friends and watching fights on TV which now means that he is sleeping all day! I somehow need to gently recommend that he gets his body clock back on track for Christmas celebrations otherwise he will miss the day!
We’ve now had our French lesson soirée. Nous avons eu notre fête de Noël française célébrant la fin du mandat so that we could say “Joyeux Noël” and eat délicieuse charcouterie avec champagne.
We’ve enjoyed learning French this year and have especially enjoyed the classes parce que pendant que nous bavardons, nous buvons beaucoup de vin français. Which is also an important part of the learning process apparemment.
That said, my daughter is rather dismissive of the fact that after two years we are really only up to learning about the weather and colours. My poor little brain can’t deal with anything other than a few new words a week it seems…but oh well, it’s better than nothing.
Check out the little red chap! He’s a bottle stopper apparently:-

These cheese biscuits were delicious and you can buy them in the UK:-

Enjoying espresso martini’s as well!

PS – any incorrect French translation blame Google! Obviously I am unable to string sentences together yet.
