Well. My new shorter hair seems to be getting a better reception than I was anticipating. Lots of “it’s not THAT bad!!” – “from what you wrote in your blog I thought it was going to be WAY worse”. My brother, who is in London for a very important transfusion conference (two days all about transfusions??) said he thinks it makes me look like a combination of Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction and Dougal from the Magic Roundabout.

Great.

SO. Talking about hair. Well done to everyone I know who grew a moustache and managed to keep it throughout the month. Including my son who has one that you still can’t see even after a month of really full on effort.

Here is my TOP favourite one – a friend of my son’s – he looks properly dapper and has clearly taken care of it using all manner of trimming equipment (student – much time to look in the mirror)…..

So. As I’m putting him on public display – I’m also donating £10 to him for his efforts towards Movember month.

ps: I am doing well with Muffember but no longer have a boyfriend. I have either lost him in the thickets or he has gone off in disgust. Not sure which. (joke btw – as last time I wrote about this sort of subject I had a horrified response!).
