They’re not really getting any easier, my Tuesday morning classes. I still desperately miss my beautiful, young friend who died last month. The space where she should be still shouts at me. I’m going with my friend to visit her grave on Friday. The eyelash extensions we both had put on for her funeral because she loved wearing them have nearly all fallen out now. I still have one or two long ones left on which makes me look like I’ve got mange.
On a more positive note, now my blisters and my eyelashes have disappeared, between the two of us, we managed to raise over £2,000. The brilliant fundraising total to date is now almost £92,000.00! Both Breakthrough Breast Cancer and The Caron Keating Foundation are absolutely delighted and have started to put the funds to excellent use.

June 8, 2010I KNOW!! My brother says I’m showing off, but it’s only because if we can get a higher profile for the charity then all the better – not my fault I’m right next to her the whole time! Lx

June 9, 2010I vicariously did that walk with you because I knew Caron at uni. A lovlier person you couldn’t meet. I can’t imagine her mother’s grief but I’m so glad she’s doing this. And very well done YOU.
