I would love to think that in a few months time, “Pussygate” will be the reason that Donald Trump was finally felled at almost the last hurdle of his ridiculous attempt to take control. That not only women, but men, will rise up and insist that he has finally stepped over the line. The fact that we have just found out that he is on record saying that he liked to “grab women by the pussy” and that owing to his fame he could get away with it, should be the red line, but I fear that there will be more to come unless something is done about it. The worry is that he has said so many other ridiculous things that American Alpha males (in particular) will still continue to support his campaign and accept that his comments were merely “locker room” chat. That “banter” he dismisses as boys chat is frankly an insult to any man who plays group sport who shares changing rooms with their team members. Pretty sure it’s rare for them to sink that low and show such total disrespect and disregard for the female race.

So, without wishing to trivialise in any way his appalling behaviour, to the women of the USA, I would like to say that not only do you have our sympathy, but as your global sisters, we are with you. I personally think that the best form of attack is not to get mad, but to get even. I can’t think of much worse than letting that man into the White House, so lets fight fire with fire. We can do this by taking the exact same terminology that he has chosen for the female race and harnessing it into something HUGE. We cannot let our daughters’ think that this sort of approach to life is acceptable when we have been progressing relatively well thus far. At least this will be an approach that he will understand.

“Pussy Power”.

The dictionary definition of “Pussy Power” is the following:-

“Power exercised by women; specifically a woman’s use of her sexual allure or femininity in order to exert influence over men (frequently used as a feminist slogan).
Origin
1960s ; earliest use found in Eldridge Cleaver (1935–1998), social activist and writer.

So all we need are a few t-shirts and placards saying “Pussy Power” and then a bit of a plan as to when the women of the world will “lean in” and step out together to make our voices heard. As I’m not a detail person, it would be good if a few others could come onboard….then we can set a date and put up a united front! Easy peasy.

My concern is that this is not yet over and he is still in with a chance on account of not only tactical voting, but a determined support from those who continue to brush aside his brusque and brutish, black and white take on life, whether it be on attacking Muslims, Mexicans or women.

Women are understandably angry about his views and there has never been a better time for female solidarity to show it’s true colours. I don’t think we should concern ourselves with endless debates about whether what he said was “misogynistic” or not, because I don’t think that is the point – this is not only a female issue, it is everyone’s issues and essentially, it is about respect. He clearly has no respect for women, so it would please me hugely to make “Pussygate” the reason for his demise, so that we can move on to other far more important things that demand our attention in order to stop allowing him to take up so much of our valuable time.

He was never going to get any better, so now is the time to use our collective feminist voices in a tongue in cheek way to demand that the time has come to stop the joke. It’s not funny anymore.

A quote from Tibor Fischer springs to mind when summing up what I think of him:-

“Like most men, I’m a life support system for a phallus”.

That is simply not acceptable in any walk of life anymore, let alone for the President of the USA.

ps – I can’t find a photo the right size of Mr D Trump to upload for the header of this blog post, but as you all know what he looks like, it really doesn’t matter, so instead – I’ve added a photo that sums up pussy power to me….

I’ve been against Trump from the beginning. He is repulsive in every way to me. There is very little black and white with him. People either hate him or think he is there salvation. I don’t understand how anyone can vote for him. His supporters fall into a few groups: 1) voting for him because they hate Hillary, 2) love him because he is politically incorrect and will solve all of the problems in Washingon. I think most of these people are racists. 3) voting for him because they have Republican values, opposing abortion chiefly among their concerns. Also, they want conservative judges appointed to our Supreme Court and feel this is the only way that will happen.

It’s not pretty here in the US. The horrible bickering, and the highly suspect and blatantly false articles circulating on Facebook alone make you realize people will believe anything they read on the internet as truth. The sad part is that people completely believe the false reports and never question whether they are truth or not!

I would love to say the negative social media will die down after the election, but a win by Hillary will only amp it up!

The funniest thing about this horrible mess was that Melania Trump turned up to the last debate wearing a bright pink Gucci blouse with a bow at the neck and it’s name was apparently “Pussy bow”. http://www.cnbc.com/2016/10/09/melanias-pink-pussy-bow-blouse-prompts-questions-about-deeper-meaning.html
