There is an article in The Sunday Times “Style” Magazine this week by Camilla Long that has put me into a huge depression. She is writing about the lack of single men available to women in their 20’s and 30’s. She dismisses the internet dating option as a successful way to meet men by saying that it is “awash with men who lie about their height, weight, hairline, salary and how good they are in a fight (surely she means bed?)”. She says friends don’t seem to come up with the goods and that she can’t even find any decent men at parties, where the only men to express an interest in her are either “lecherous marrieds, divorcees in their early forties or toxic bachelors”. She describes the divorcees as being “sloppy seconds”……
I don’t want “sloppy seconds”.

May 26, 2008At least you have a list. That in itself is an achievement. At least in my world.

May 26, 2008Oi, ease up on the “bald is bad” outlook!
No, you’re right – would Brad Pitt be as attractive if he was non-hirsute? (Don’t answer). In fact, Brad asked me to shave my head as he didn’t think he could compete with me otherwise…. yeah right, and Angelina Jolie is sane.

May 27, 2008Brad Pitt could get away with it – its all about the shape of the head you know.
My dear other half has been bald since the day I met him (but not ‘cos of me) but his head shape is good.
Guys without hair can look gross if the shape’s all wrong – don’t you agree dumbdad? Remember, he is a rugby player – he probably will have a neck the size of a tree trunk, a pin head and a cauliflower ear – then again, you may be lucky; he may look like Brad Pitt.
Only another twenty years and you can join Saga, I have heard there’s lots of male (bald) totty to meet there.
Well, good luck then, let us know how it goes.
