I have spent the last two days trying to find the source of a really bad smell. Again. I thought maybe it was something to do with the cats. I changed the cat litter. Did sniff tests round the kitchen. Tried candles. Air Freshener. Opening windows.
I had been worrying that something else had found it’s way underneath my floorboards that had recently died and that I was going to have to expect another swarm of flies any minute.
But no. I have just discovered the source. Sitting quietly in the corner was a bag I had overlooked.
In it was my teenage son’s rugby kit left over from last week.
Impressively smelly boots. How do they manage to generate such horrible smells? They’re just rodents dressed as humans.

October 19, 2009It could've been a four month old lunch box (with contents) hidden on a shelf in the closet. Now that smells! And the Queenager didn't even notice it!
