SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENTATION

I am doing a social media presentation at work tomorrow.

I haven’t really quite worked out what I am going to say. Having been to several Social Media Masterclasses this week, I am now more confused than ever. The first one said to concentrate only on several platforms and do them well and that luckily for us, there were no social media experts in the world yet because it was all so new…

Then I met somebody else this afternoon who was going to give me some pointers for my talk – “the most reassuring thing” I told him as I sat down “is that there are no Social Media Experts yet in the world, so we can all muddle through this together, experimenting along the way”.

He just stared at me.

Then handed me his card. It said “Social Media Expert”.

Ooops.

Then he said how ridiculous to only stick to a couple of platforms – you have to engage with them all.
