Seems the latest trend in the suburbs is live music in houses – just great – last week I went to a Christmas drinks party and a band called “Tankus The Hence” were taking the little house by a storm with their very eclectic style of music:-
Then last night I was at some other friends – the ones who have just come back from recording and archiving East African music and their Abubilla band was playing and they’re great:-
I was secretly wondering though whether their white Christmas tree was a far better option than my black one…..
