So far, Easter Sunday in Melbourne can be summed up as follows:-
Easter cake baked by my 9 year old all by himself made to look like an Easter egg. My friend was amazed – she has three boys and a husband – none of which have ever baked a cake:-
Breakfast in the garden:-
An Easter egg Hunt:-
A walk on the beach:-
A swim in the pool:-
Now we’re about to go out for Dim Sum and then back for more reading and relaxing. Just lovely. The only slight problem is that my 9 year old has been complaining about a “nose” size mosquito bite on his leg and fighting with his sister. After several warnings, I told him that if he didn’t stop he wasn’t going to be allowed to have his Easter egg…..so now he’s in a strop…..”WHERE’S YOUR SPIRIT OF EASTER??” he demanded wandering off…
Not sure what that is….but it sounds good anyway.

April 4, 2010that, whilst undoubtably (sp?) is a very ‘chocolate’ cake, but am I missing something?…it does not look like an Easter egg. Happy Easter to you all…(hope you get sunburnt….)
