There is now a second video of the very cute Mr Ben Fogle, getting down and dirty with some baby orang-utans. In this two minute video, we see adventurer and explorer Ben Fogle at an orangutan rehabilitation centre in Sarawak called Matang Wildlife Centre, set, as Ben says in “one of the most beautiful rainforest regions on the planet”.

Located close to Sarawak’s capital city, Kuching, it is fascinating to watch Ben being taught how to look after young orangutans who have been previously been held in captivity or orphaned. They have a tiered system of teaching the orangutans the skills they need, one day at a time, how to live back in the wild.

The Heart To Heart Foundation run several different eco-tourism programmes which members of the public can get involved in and we watch Ben getting put through his paces – helping to feed the orangutans and clean out their enclosures.

At the end of an incredibly satisfying day, Ben receives his certificate and T-shirt for all his efforts.

I am very excited about the upcoming event that Ben is attending – any of you out there who would like to come let me know and I’ll try and get you on the list or send me a twitter message to @FamilyAffairs and use the #SarawakFogle.
