Birds Eye have very kindly offered me a microwave to give away to one of my readers (little do they know I only have one reader and she already has a microwave, but never mind….who am I to turn down the opportunity to hand out something of use to somebody somewhere? And it’s so easy….nothing to it. You just have answer a few simple questions and pop over to play their game on Facebook, possibly to win an even bigger prize.

Birds Eye are also hosting an event at waterloo station for commuters where they are having a pic and mix stand but for vegetables and they can steam them after so look out for that event on Saturday 13th December. To tie in with this, they are doing something similar on facebook where you pick six ingredients and put them into a bag, each ingredient is an element of the top prize (which is a night in a hotel for two). If you get all the unique prize elements you win the top prize.
