SOOOO. How did you all get on? Was it a Merry/Messy Christmas? We had a great day with family and friends. Ate, drank, played Charades, drank more, ate more, forgot to watch the Queen’s speech and it was all good. We all wore our special Christmas clothes – my mother even had her special Christmas hairband:-
Well, almost all good. Good for the kids. I personally am having a little bit of a WTF???moment. So it was appropriate that my son got a stamp saying just that because I think I’m going to stamp it on just about everything including my forehead:-
This was mainly because when I went to get the children I dropped in to see Builder Bloke. My daughter was insistent that I do so because apparently they had bought me a present that I had to take back to London. It now turns out that they had been plotting for days. Pretending that they had to go to a factory somewhere miles away to buy the last something or other and doing a six hour round trip – it was all very mysterious.
Anyway, I have to say I have never been more surprised/shocked/extremely pissed off by a present in my entire life – totally unexpected and quite frankly the only present given to me by an ex boyfriend that was impossible to refuse – because what other choice did I have but to accept it? The children are all deliriously happy – a very typical BB sort of gesture – full of exceedingly good intent but I’m not entirely sure, I hadn’t planned to replace our dead cat quite so soon and my other cat has typically responded very badly….but apart from that….he is very cute:-
