Feeling a little worse for wear after several days of hardcore partying……lots of family and friends and a new baby and a new kitten and kids and mess and just all that lovely stuff that is what Christmas is all about.
It’s gone all quiet again now. That is the strange thing about divorce and kids and Christmas – it’s either full-on or it’s silent. Weird. They’ve gone back to their father’s house now for a few days so I have been left with new kitten and old mother to look after.
BEST PRESENT:-
Daughter in her Xmas Onesie with the new kitten:-

WORST PRESENT:-
Although he certainly knows the best way to endear himself to me. He’s just climbed up my leg as I’m typing and done this on my lap:-
Three week old new baby was amazingly chilled throughout our family celebration and happy to receive cuddles from everyone:-
Here she is making her arrival:-
Here she is with my son (that is his girlfriend’s hand with the red nails btw – not his):-
This is my actual worst present – going in the downstairs loo, found by my brother on his recent trip to the US:-
and another funny present – paparazzi glasses so that I can look as if I am constantly in disguise in every photo:-
What was your worst/best present?

Working Mum
December 29, 2011Ha Ha! Love the glasses!
My best present was the music for Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet which I think I lost when we moved house and have been mourning every time I play my clarinet. Husband must have listened because he braved Forsyth’s music shop (not his thing) and bought it for me. I nearly cried!
Worst present – glass worktop saver. I have granite worktops.
All the best for New Year. WM x
