I thought my day was bad enough – my son is off sick from school today, my house is freezing and I don’t have any hot water and then it got even worse….I got a message from my ex husband in Switzerland saying “I’m just in an ambulance with our daughter – I think she’s broken her arm”. Bloody great.
I have finally just spoken to her and she’s OK. She has fractured her elbow. She was pretty pleased to have been taken down the mountain in a blood wagon and attached to a drip. “They made me wee into a cup to see if I had any internal bleeding and they might have to put a cast on in a couple of days if it doesn’t get any better”. What a shame. Apparently she was skiing down the mountain being video’d by her dad, shortly followed by her brother on his snowboard. He couldn’t slow down in time and crashed into her.
