Much much much family excitement about the new edition to the family. SO CUTE. Lovely to see her being held by each of my children so lovingly – they have grown up knowing my brothers so well that it is just a joy to see that she is going to be inundated with love and attention all round. “The Babysitting Club” my brother said – in hopeful manner….
Here is me with my son. It was agreed that we looked like an internet dating couple with our new baby – I’d prefer to think of us as Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher with a baby, but that is just me being ridiculous….
Here is my son’s hand and her foot – so strange to think my brother was the age my son is now when I had him – how they do grow….

December 8, 2011Gorgeous photos. My cousin had a baby (rather spectacularly as baby was born on the bathroom floor, but that’s beside the point here) in September. She’ll be lovely and bouncy by the time we see her next June but it’s the only baby in the immediate family my kids have in their lives. (Another cousin’s baby is due any day now so by summer, there’ll be two squashy babies.)
