I’ve had an idea. My ex has requested that he has the children for both half terms next year because I am “lucky” enough to have them all the rest of the time. I don’t think that is fair, because it means I can’t go away with them, I just have the daily drag as I have mentioned before.
I am going to suggest that we share the half term holidays and that instead, he takes a week off and has them during the school term. That way everybody benefits in my view. I don’t suppose he will agree.
