Honestly. WHAT would I do without him. My 9 year old culinary star in the making decided he was going to cook us all supper tonight. He went off to Tesco’s on his own armed just with some money from me. Came back with his ingredients and proceeded to cook it all from scratch, on his own, without a recipe.

He even used brown rice – deciding we all needed a healthy option.

I asked him to write it out – so I’ve left in the spelling mistakes because I love them…

Not sure I love the close up photo, but gives you the general idea:-

Great recipe! I have a similar one on my website too, but I did not use your “secret ingredient” 😉

    Thanks for sharing!

Love the ouiniens! Not sure the extreme closeup does the dish total justice though. Nevertheless, can I borrow him?

i made it last night, following his instructions. came out perfectly, so pass on the thanks please! and i earned major kudos with the boyf for including marmite which i generally find loathsome.
am quite jealous your son has discovered cooking so young. i’d be so much less chubby now as an adult if i had learnt to cook for myself and experiment with vegetables etc when i was younger. just getting there now…
