I needn’t have worried. My new class at posh club went really well. I had 8 people in it and 2 of them asked me for my card to do some private sessions with them at the end, so it must have been OK.

It started worryingly badly. After several nervous poo’s (at home) I received a text from the only person I knew at the club who said they would definately be there to support me. “So sorry, I can’t make it…” at this point I was expecting at the very least an excuse about how her youngest child was having an emergency lobotomy or some other such drama, but no, the text went on to say “I’ve got to go to the garden centre”. This was not a good start.

Once I arrived, I did not know where to go, or who to speak to. One woman told me not to expect anybody to come because it clashed with the Pilates class and they would all be in there. I couldn’t find the lights or work the music system.

Never mind. I talked my way through it and I have to say, because the techniques I use are simply about stretching and strengthening core muscles, people nearly always feel better afterwards.

I’m so pleased I’ve just eaten 3 Jammy Dodgers to celebrate and now I feel sick.

Well done on your class! You should have many more people signing up soon.

A tip for the ex. Next time you text him, run it along the lines of “You are now a Classified Ex-boyfriend. Now that’s clear I have nothing left to say. Lulu eX eX eX”

Dear Lulu, how appropriate for St. George’s Day – a knight in shining armour. Anyway, enjoy it. Life’s too short not to (after reading your previous posts!) M xx
