My youngest child is fourteen today!! Scary stuff. Happy Birthday!!! Woohoo. What can you do at 14 that you couldn’t do at 13 apart from own an air rifle?
He’s had a lovely day. Spent the morning with his dad and family opening presents before school and then met me and his brother and sister at a restaurant in the evening to open yet more presents – well, there’s got to be some advantages to being a child of divorce and two sets of presents is most certainly one of them…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beautiful, funny, thoughtful boy – looking forward to many more years together – he’s going to be an only child living at home in September – I’m not sure he’s really loving that thought.
So here we are having (m)ocktails at The Bluebird:-
and here my daughter has done a comparison of past to present….where have my babies gone? They’re all bigger than me now:-
Then we went to The Big Easy in the King’s Road – a rib shack, crab shack, lobster shack sort of place with a cool vibe and live music and it was packed – even on a Monday night! Great fun if you want a lively evening with your kids or friends.
Sigh. Life is moving too fast….
