My daughter had a lovely day yesterday. As I kissed her goodnight she said “this has been the best birthday ever” and that is all that I could have hoped for. Her father and I were VERY GROWN UP and managed to put on a united front for her sake. I invited him for breakfast so that he could see her open her presents and then we all went out for a meal together in the evening, which meant that she didn’t have to fret about not being with either parent….
“I believe that to have world peace we must first have inner peace.
Those who are naturally serene, at peace with themselves, will be more open towards others.
I think this is where the foundation of universal peace lies.

This is what I am going to strive towards. Inner peace. Followed by world peace. But not in the next few hours because I am about to take the children to see “Quantum of Solace” which will hardly be spreading the word….

November 8, 2008I thought Casino Royale was better actually. This was too action packed with not enough of a plot. (IMHO – in my humble opinion) but of course kids and blokes loved it. Lx Still wouldn’t kick Daniel Craig out of bed though.
