I cannot believe that once again we have a head lice infestation in our house. I have had to call the mother’s of several of my daughters’ friends to let them know. I spoke to another woman in the school playground. I told her to try “Hedrin” and told her that it seemed to be fairly effective and that the best bit was that once the lotion had taken hold they would suffocate and then blow up. “What, the children or the lice?” she asked. “The children. Obviously” I said. “Blowing them up is a highly effective way of ensuring that the lice will never come back”.

October 2, 2008I’ve just had to buy myself X-strength dandruff shampoo due to my excessive scratching. Every year around this time I convince myself I have lice brought home from school by my daughter who insists on hugging all of her friends daily. It’ll last through March.
It might actually be good if I got them – then finally I’d know the difference between dandruff and nits and could once and for all sleep easily.
