My daughter is having the first of three vaccinations for the HPV virus today at her school. This will offer her 70% protection against cervical cancer. “It’s SO not fair that they’ve chosen to give it to our age group first” she said as she left this morning. The next one is due on her birthday next month. She is not happy.

The girls have obviously all been talking and she is worried that she might “pass out” because she’s heard that is one of the side-effects.

PS: Obviously the title of my post has nothing to do with the HPV virus, but I just thought it sounded quite good.
