This photograph makes me very happy – even if he isn’t looking quite how I remembered him in my teens – the hottest man on the planet wearing a leather jacket. Honestly if my young self ever knew that one day I’d be interviewing him for my blog and spending a lunchtime chewing the cud and talking about his upcoming Pantomime role as Captain Hook and his soon to be TV series of his Hank Zipzer books then I would never have believed it. Not in a million years.

So you see? I had to wait a few years, but dreams can indeed come true. Happy Days:-

I used to love Fonzie and Happy Days. But, crikey, he’s getting on a bit now – 68! But then again we’re getting older too. Exactamundo. Aaaargh or even Aaaaeeeyyy!

Me too – loved loved loved the show – but when a friend asked what was his catch phrase again, we couldn’t remember….I had to google it and you’re right – all he ever said was “aaaaaaaeeeyeeyyy” – do you think Joey from Friends was based on him?

No, I loved Joey but he wasn’t coolamundo like the Fonz. I haven’t seen a Happy Days show for years and years but still remmeber vividly Fonzie in front of the mirror with his comb and that shrug – brilliant!
