My teenage son has had a temperature of 104 degrees for the last 24 hours. He’s with his dad. I’ve been in constant touch and even though there are no signs of a rash or sore neck, he has a sore throat and headache and although it will probably be flu, he is still taking him up to the hospital to get him checked out and to see if they’ll give him some antibiotics.

I’m really worried and feel so helpless not having him with me. Another horrid aspect of divorce. It highlights even more the pain of separation.

Oh and my boiler is broken too.

My daughter is with my ex at the moment and I do worry about her.
Its really hard (at least for me) to allow myself to trust that my ex will be able to take care of my girl. So I know exactly how you must be feeling.
    Be strong.

oooh -tough one. I thought you were going to say that you’d argued about whether or not to seek medical attention. At least you were on the same page as they say!

I hope to hear soon that you are reassured.
