Following on from our wonderful Mother and Daughter trip to New York City we were invited to indulge in the most lovely treat on Saturday. A mother & daughter makeup session at Jemma Kidd’s make-up school. Such a luxury and it would make a brilliant Christmas present because the sessions can be catered accordingly to your requirements. We had an initial 5 minute chat with our far too beautiful make-up artist Clare to determine what it was we were looking for. I kept it very simple and told her that all I wanted was to look 20 years younger and WAY more beautiful which was a little challenging and I also asked her if she could make my daughter look really old and wrinkly, so that I didn’t look so bad in the photos, but that didn’t work either. So she did her best to improve my face under difficult circumstances and all the way along gave tips on skincare and colours and techniques. Just such a lovely girly thing to do and wonderfully soothing to have somebody gently brushing over your face.
Jemma’s studio is in Nottinghill. Very cool and trendy. Lovely light:-
Her finished look which was quite Biba-esque:-

Mother & Daughter moment – although I don’t love my look:-
