HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY NIECE…we sent her a happy birthday video this morning of me and two out of three kids singing happy birthday – which is a family tradition, normally sung badly down the phone but hooray – we are getting more technical and modern!! Teenage son obviously still in bed – daughter was in charge of the recording from my iphone – RUBBISH. All wobbly and she completely failed to include her brother. Still. I think better than a card on the mat – is it any wonder that kids don’t send things anymore when they can send themselves?
My sister-in-law has come up with the most spectacular birthday cake for my gorgeous niece’s birthday today. In my day we had to contend with Sponge Bob Square Pants cake and football pitches – this one takes “skills mother’s must have” to an entirely different level:-
